Sports are played under the C.A.C. guidelines with emphasis on instruction, sportsmanship and providing an atmosphere where each child can develop their full potential in learning the game.

Soccer is open to all student athletes within Good Shepherd Parish boundaries, Kindergarten through 8th grade. 2012 Soccer Practice Times C1 Team (K & 1st Grade) Tuesday from 6 - 8:00 at Hillsboro City Park C2 Team (2nd & 3rd Grade) Thursday from 6 - 8:00 P.M. at Hillsboro City Park B Team (4th & 5th Grade) Thursday from 6 – 8:00 PM at Hillsboro City Park A Team (6th - 8th Grade) Monday from 6 - 8:00 at Hillsboro City Park Please have you child bring a soccer ball with their name on it to each practice and game. Coaches C1 Team (K & 1st Grade) Steve Eimer C2 Team (2nd & 3rd Grade) Rick Newton B Team (4th & 5th Grade) Ken Bogowith and Jim Campbell A Team (6th - 8th Grade) Bill Henderson and Jim Campbell
Soccer Game Times C1 Team - 9:00 A.M. C2 Team - 9:00 A.M. B Team - 10:00 A.M. A Team - 11:00 A.M. Please arrive 1/2 hour before game time. Game Uniform - Good Shepherd uniform shirt, navy blue shorts, and red soccer socks. Each child must have shin guards and socks must cover the shin guards and soccer spikes - baseball spikes are prohibited.
